About Vegas Casino Online
Vegas Casino Online is a UK and Panama-licensed online casino that has been around since the early days of online gaming. With over 20 years of experience under its belt, this casino has built up a formidable reputation. It originally started operations in 1999.
As far as the overall appearance is concerned, the casino badly needs a graphics overhaul. The website looks quite dated in its design and layouts. The color palette with its dark blues, and visual themes which project the famous Vegas skyline still look quite attractive though.
The website, on the whole, is quite easy to navigate, even if it doesn’t look very slick or stylish. The casino has tons or promotions and games to offer. One of the key highlights is the availability of three game modes – download play, instant online play, and app-play.
The games and software on this site come from RTG, which is one of the most reliable software companies out there for online casinos. All the games are certified for fair play. In addition, the casino allows players to file any dispute via the Central Dispute System (CDS), a third party dispute system established by Real Time Gaming. They take transparency and reliability very seriously at this casino – there is even a feature to check the audit trail of every single transaction you make at the casino.
Perhaps one of the strongest features of this casino is also its Achilles Heel – banking. There are few options, and the withdrawal process can take up to two weeks, which is quite excessive. But this also happens to be one of the rare casinos where all payments are 100% reliable.
The customer care features available at Vegas Casino Online are quite decent. They have a special focus on North American players, despite being an international casino. The support team is available 24×7 to handle all player issues, but you can only contact them using two methods – Live Chat or email.
Vegas Casino Instant Play and Download Casino Games Overview
Since it has been around for decades, Vegas Casino Online does indeed have an old legacy feature like a download option. Though this kind of feature is not really a priority for casino gamers these days, it is still nice to have the option. Players have the choice of downloading a client program for their PCs. This feature does not work on Mac OS X.
But the default method for accessing this casino is obviously the instant play option – just use your regular browser to open the casino website. All the games there are playable right out of the browser window. Both OS X and Windows PC players can use this simple option to play their favorite casino games.
As for the games and casino software on offer, Vegas Casino Online is a single-vendor casino that operates using the RTG casino software suite. This means that all the games available at this casino come from this company alone.
To play with real cash, all players have to create a new account at the casino. They can either click the “download now” option (PC only), or the “instant play” feature. The registration process is relatively simple and quick. Before playing, newly registered players have to deposit cash into their casino account using any one of the deposit options available.
Starting a game is simplicity itself. Just head to the games collection and click/tap on the icon of any available game. It will load smoothly into your browser/client program. All the games are divided into the following categories for easy access:
Slots
Table Games
Video Poker
Specialty Games
Real Time Gaming Online Casino Games at Vegas Casino Online
RTG is one of the biggest names in the e-gaming software industry, almost in the same league as companies like Netent and Microgaming. They first started operations in 1998, barely one year ahead of the launch of Vegas Casino Online.
RTG was originally based out of Atlanta, Georgia. Due to new gambling laws in the US, they eventually shifted operations to Costa Rica. Today, dozens of popular online casinos use RTG software and games.
The games portfolio of RTG is best known for its huge list of high-quality video slots, card and table games, and video poker. What is missing is a very important category for some players – live dealer games.
All RTG games are tested for fair play RNG by a third-party testing agency called Technical Systems Testing. So there are absolutely zero concerns regarding their quality or fairness. some of the popular new RTG games available at Vegas Casino Online include:
The Mariachi 5
Cubee
Fire Dragon
Wu Zetian
I, Zombie
Stardust
Scuba Fishing
Vegas Casino Mobile Casino – Compatible with iOS and Android Devices
Mobile compatibility is one of the strongest attributes of Vegas Casino. For PC and Mac-based players, the casino has two options – a download client (PC only), and instant play feature (both PC and Mac). A similar arrangement is also available for mobile devices featuring Android and iOS operating systems.
For starters, all mobile operating systems can run this casino smoothly using just their regular browser software. The instant play feature works exceedingly well on mobiles and tablets. All you need is a browser like Chrome or Safari and a working internet connection. If you are an iPhone user, this is the only option you have.
Android devices have another feature they can use – a dedicated app available for download from the casino website itself. It is like the download client for PCs – it allows you to run the casino outside your browser. The mobile version of Vegas Casino has a surprising amount of depth, with over a hundred games available in all.
HTML5 Games at Vegas Casino Mobile Casino
RTG has an excellent track record of making their games mobile-friendly. This makes Vegas Casino an excellent choice for mobile-based players. Instead of a handful of games as is the norm elsewhere, this casino offers close to a hundred games or more.
The excellent collection includes video slots, table games, and video poker on offer. In fact, pretty all major niches at this casino find their way onto the mobile platform as well. Thanks to the HTML5 feature, the games work flawlessly on all screens and processors, including flagships, budget devices, and iPhones old and new.
How to Get Started at Vegas Casino Mobile Casino
There are two ways in which you can get started at Vegas Casino:
Visit the casino website and register/log in with your account
Start playing using the instant play option in your mobile browser
Or, if you want app-based gaming, head to the downloadable app section
Download the APK file and install as per the given instructions.
Log in with your casino account and start playing.
This app feature is only available for Android users at present.
iOS and iPhone users will have to make do with the instant play browser feature.
Vegas Casino Online Loyalty Program
Instead of a VIP Club, Vegas Casino Online has this basic loyalty program to reward regular players and high rollers. The system involves comp points, which are earned every time you deposit and wager on casino games and slots. The more you wager, the higher your comp point collection.
Players level up when they collect fixed amounts of comp points. These can be redeemed in exchange for real cash at the casino. And the amount of cash you get increases with each level, ranging from Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and beyond.
The casino sorely needs to add more information on this topic at their website. What little we could piece together indicates that the higher level players may also get the choice of raised withdrawal limits.
Progressive Jackpots at Vegas Casino
The progressive jackpots at Vegas Casino Online come from the stables of Real Time Gaming. There are 10 different games on offer here, including both slots as well as poker games with progressive pools. So there is a fair bit of choice in this niche at the casino.
The jackpot payouts range from a few thousand dollars to over a million dollars or two. The latter is of course, very hard to hit because of the narrow odds. Games like Aztec’s Millions and Megasaur are your best bet if you want to earn six or seven-figure payouts.
Other smaller progressive games include:
Spirit of the Inca
Let em Ride
Jackpot Pinatas
Cleopatra’s Gold
Caribbean Stud Poker
Deposits and Withdrawals at Vegas Casino Online
Vegas Casino Online is all about the thrill of playing with real cash. To enable that, it supports a wide range of banking options. US Dollar is the single main accepted currency at this international casino. The list of deposit options is short but well balanced:
VISA/MasterCard
MST GiftCards
Neteller
Depending on the deposit method, the casino has a varying minimum/maximum deposit limits.
One of the main problems with this casino is the insane amount of time it takes to process withdrawals. At times, this can take up to two weeks. In the age of cryptocurrencies and e-wallets, this is simply unacceptable. The only saving grace here is that the casino is extremely reliable and trustworthy regarding all payments.
The following are the withdrawal options available at Vegas Casino Online:
Check (Regular Mail) – Available for withdrawal requests between $150 and $400. This service is available all across the world.
Check (Courier) – The preferred option for global withdrawal requests above $500, but under $2500.
ACH Direct Deposit – Available only to US customers, with a limit between $150 and $1250.
Neteller – best option if you want to receive up to $5000 in a single withdrawal transaction.
Vegas Casino Customer Support
Customer support is available 24×7 at Vegas Casino Online, with a special focus on US and Canada players. But the downside here is that convenient channels like Toll-Free Numbers are simply not available. All that is on offer are Live Chat and email. The casino does promise replies within 24 hours to all email queries though. The support email address is [email protected].
But these are only options of last resort at this casino. Vegas Casino has one of the better websites out there, filled with useful information that is neatly arranged in properly labeled sections like
Fair Play – Explains the RNG testing system, dispute resolution mechanisms, and other steps taken by the casino to promote transparency. FAQ – All the Frequently Asked Questions, along with exhaustive answers can be found here. Terms of Use – all the fine print involved in the T&C are explained at the detail here, leaving no room for confusion.

For Grand Theft Auto Online diehards, there is nothing more infamous than the Vinewood Casino. A rumoured playable location since players first got their hands on the game in 2013, I remember parking my busted Sultan on Mirror Park Boulevard and seeing the 'Opening Soon' banner for the first time - a beacon of hope back then for an ambitious multiplayer game that hadn't quite found its feet.
Since its inclusion, gumshoed players (myself included) have obsessed over this eerily quiet corner of Los Santos, searching for clues behind the scenes and lobbying Rockstar to put together a grand opening. Alas, much like that decaying lot you see each time you return to your hometown - nothing changed.
That was true until 6th June this year, when something extraordinary happened. During a routine weekly update, the once-legendary banner vanished, a selection of props changed location, and every corner of GTA fandom on the internet erupted in tandem.
After nearly six years of waiting, the Diamond Casino & Resort will land in GTA Online today, 23rd July, touting almost everything that fans had been clamouring for: high-stakes card games, penthouse suites, bottle service and even aircraft concierge. Yet this route from speculation to spectacle has not been as simple as it seems. In fact, the story is tangled up in years of GTA Online says nervous heist master Lester Crest in the datamined audio, seemingly confirming that a gambler's paradise was on the way. It's worth noting that the Beach Bum newswire post also teased 'exciting new Story Mode updates' coming 'very soon' - back when the promise of single-player DLC for Grand Theft Auto 5 was still alive.
Turning the viscous plot into a thick porridge, Tez2 exposed some very important strings of code in early 2014 which tied a number of allusions to the casino to a potential three-pronged single-player DLC plan for GTA5, the individual parts tagged 'GTA', 'Trevor' and 'Dead' - the latter supposedly alluding to a zombie apocalypse expansion, with the datamined DLC selection menu checking for the tag 'SPZOMBIES', showcased best in this video from GTA YouTuber Chr0m3xMoDz.
'What Rockstar was planning to do with the single-player DLC can be compared to adding a whole new map expansion,' said Tez. 'They had plans to redesign 80 or 90 per cent of the map to fit a specific theme - one of the episodes was supposed to feature a zombie apocalypse. Rockstar would make changes to the whole map to fit the zombie apocalypse theme.'
But enough about zombies, for the time being; we need to talk about Trevor.
According to Tez, one of the episodes was 'based on Trevor's story after the ending to Grand Theft Auto 5, in which he would work with the IAA.' This tantalising spoke of the rumour mill then spun off its hub when even more strings of code came to light in 2015. In May of that year, Tez's post on the GTAForums read 'The main characters will rob the casino', listing strings that, when decoded, alluded to Oceans 11-style setup, preparation and heist missions, the kind that would go on to become a smash hit in the Online part of the game.
It then took until 2017 for Rockstar to simply come out and say it. In an interview with Game Informer, director of design Imran Sarwar put the concept of single-player DLC to bed and laid many a dream to rest. Yan2295, who is now an ex-GTA leaker (at the request of Take-Two), offered the now widely believed explanation for the bait-and-switch. 'The casino was supposed to come to GTA5 as single-player DLC as well as to GTA Online, but as many already know, the single-player DLCs got cancelled thanks to the success of GTA Online,' Yan explained.
Tez believes that the leftovers of this bold expansion plan were eventually repurposed into content updates for GTA Online: 'it turns out that most or some of the online updates that we received in 2017 and 2018 were based on the planned single-player DLC.' Tez cites the Doomsday Heist update as a key example of this. While there's no casino, you work with the aforementioned IAA as part of the narrative, and it utilizes the malevolent 'Clifford' as its neural network antagonist - a name which cropped up during the 2015 casino leak.
The narrative that suggests itself is that Rockstar made a shift away from single-player content add-ons to fleshing out GTA Online, which was swelling in popularity thanks to the Heists update and, of course, providing a remarkable amount of revenue via Shark Cards. This plan clearly worked: GTA5 became the most profitable entertainment product of all time in 2018, with over $6 billion raised since its release.

Yet this staggering feat is also what both of my sources believe to be the main cause of delays to the casino's implementation in GTA Online. How can you implement a realistic representation of gambling into a game that already offers microtransactions without falling foul of gambling legislation and getting the lawyers involved? The answer: its rootin' tootin' Wild West nephew, Red Dead Online.
'The casino update was canned since, because of Shark Cards, laws in some places would see that as online gambling, which is illegal in some of those places, especially considering many players are teens or kids,' Yan explains. 'But recently, they found a way to make it work, as we all saw gambling being added to Red Dead Online.'
Tez echoed a similar sentiment: 'In Red Dead Online's case, you use cash to gamble and you can purchase gold bars from microtransactions. The extra currency ensures there's a layer of safety for Rockstar from legal trouble, even though that doesn't apply to all regions or countries as some may have trouble with the existence of gambling itself - and not the way to acquire cash.'
Rockstar has so far been tight-lipped about how its new currency will work, so how well its take on casino gambling will be received by GTA Online's fans is still up in the air.
Even so, years of iteration, a cavalcade of forum discussions and months of code-trawling YouTube footage have led to this hotly anticipated moment. The question is, will it be worth it?
Rockstar seems to think so. From the Diamond Casino & Resort's tongue-in-cheek webpage copy:
'You've heard the rumours. You want to believe them, and there's only one way to find out. Abandon your preconceptions. Let go of your inhibitions, your doubts, your sense of proportion, your credit rating. The rumors didn't begin to do it justice.'

Players have taken to eulogising the old Vinewood Casino on the GTAForums. Join them, won't you, in saying goodbye to this virtual landmark. And when you get the keys to your polygon penthouse, think about the wild story behind its almost six-year-long construction effort.
